Steve Hackman’s Tchaikovsky V. Drake at Kings Theatre defies boundaries, genres and definitions. Join Hackman, his 60-piece Stereo Hideout Orchestra and four vocal soloists for a night of musical alchemy that blends two famed composers separated by over a century, the ‘6 God’ Drake and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Mutual themes of agony, transcendence and triumph are explored in this interwoven epic.
Tchaikovsky V. Drake, led by conductor/creator Hackman, stars the Stereo Hideout Orchestra with special guest vocalists India Carney (Top 3 on NBC’s The Voice and backup singer for Katy Perry), Malia Civetz (Warner-Chappell artist with 10 million plays on Spotify), Mario Jose (YouTube sensation on tour with Postmodern Jukebox and Pentatonix), and rapper Jecorey ‘1200’ Arthur.
